FORMATION OF D3 TEAMS UNDERWAY
Right now we are forcasting (2) U12 boys, U10 Girls, (2) U10 Boys, (3) U9 Boys and a U9 girls team. We are planning
an older boys team and a number of academy teams as well.
Division 3 teams serve as a great transition from local "in-house" recreational soccer to a more competitive
rec-plus soccer. This program is for the players looking for something a little more competitive than the local rec
programs. These D3 teams play within the Mid-Alabama Recreational Soccer (MARS) league. We plan to field
teams to compete in U9, U10, U12 and U14 divisions within this league. These teams will be eligible to play in optional
regional tournaments and ultimately will be able to compete in the State Governor's Cup. Interested in D3 Soccer?
